St. Marks Square String Quartet
In the Atrium
St. Mark's Square, a professional string quartet, features Allison Stiner (first violin), Aleksis Zarins (second violin), Kirsten Weingartner-Weiss (viola) and Michael Murray (cello). Collectively, their performance experience has brought them around the world to concert stages in Europe, the Far East and South America. They have performed in Broadway shows, the stages of NYC's Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, as well as Branson theaters. These individual artists have shared the stage with such talents as Tony Bennett, Kansas, The Lawrence Welk Show, Anne Murray, Steve & Edie Gormet, Manheim Steamroller and many others. Today you will enjoy their beautiful offereings of music in the First & Calvary Atrium.

MSU Concert Chorale

Always a favorite on our Musical Offerings series, the MSU Concert Chorale is the primary touring choir of teh Department of Music at Missouri State University. The choir of fifty-plus voices has established itself as one of the nation's premier choral enxembles-performing by invitation at major choral conventions and frequently traveling abroad. Their program will showcase the classic a cappella repertoire for which they are renowned.

The Drury Singers

The Drury Singers is the select touring choir of Drury University. Open to Drury students by audition, the choir is made up of 40 singers majoring in a variety of academic disciplines. They have performed several times for the Missouri Music Educators Association, the American Choral Directors Association, twice in Carnegie Hall, and have toured Europe and most recently China. Their program will include traditional a cappella repertoire, as well as a new composition by Drury faculty member, Carlyle Sharpe.
