First & Calvary offers many opportunities for people of all ages to participate in worshipping God through music. Chancel Choir [College Age and Above]
February Schedule

Chancel Choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM in the Choir Room 201. They sing for most 11:00 AM Worship services in the Sanctuary on Sunday, as well as providing special music at various times during the year. They meet September through July.

Youth Choir [Grades 8-12] 
February Schedule

The Youth Choir meets for rehearsal on Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM in the Choir Room 201. They sing for many of the 8:30 AM Worship services in the Sanctuary on Sunday. They also sing several times during the school year in the 11:00 AM service in the Multi-purpose Room. The year ends with a contemporary musical presentation and a week-long choir tour in early June. The Youth Choir meets September through June.

Middle School Choir [Grades 6 & 7] 
February Schedule

The Middle School Choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesday evenings at 5:15 PM in the Choir Room 201. They sing for many of the worship services in the Sanctuary on Sunday. The Middle School Choir experiences a weekend trip in the Spring to enjoy fellowship and share their music. They meet September through April.

Junior Choir [Grades 3-5]  
February Schedule

The Junior Choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesday afternoons in the Choir Room 201. The Junior Choir is a part of the "Faith For Life" program that includes choir and Bible study. They sing several times during the year, as well as present their own musical drama in early April in the worship service. They meet September through April.

Joyful Singers [Grades K-2]
Spring Schedule

Joyful Singers meet on Wednesday afternoons in Room 304 as a part of the "Faith For Life" program that includes choir and Bible study. They sing several times during the year, as well as present their own Advent/Christmas muscial at the "Celebrate...While We Wait" all-church event in early December. Brenda Shannon directs the Joyful Singers. They meet September through April.

Littlest Angels [Age 3 - Non-Kindergarten 5]

The Littlest Angels preschool choir is our newest choir and is open to all children ages 3 through non-kindergarten 5, with at least one parent per family present. To register your child, contact Erika O'Bryant at e.obryant@fandcpres.org or call the church office.

Praise Singers

You may contact Sharon Reed at 862-5068 for an audition. Praise Singers lead in Worship on Sunday at 11:00 in the Contemporary Service in the Multi-purpose Room. If you are selected you will be asked to complete a worship training session before you will be placed on the schedule. Praise Singers sing on various Sundays throughout the year, commit time to independently study the music and attend any extra rehearsals as required.

First & Calvary Camerata

The First & Calvary Camerata is a highly-select chamber choir consisting of college music majors and professional choral musicians. This group, under the direction of Jim Davidson, was created for the purpose of performing challenging sacred works in worship that are often relagated to the concert setting. Contact Jim Davidson at j.davidson@fandcpres.org for more information.
